Badminton

D.he ball sport, badminton, is a setback game that is played with a shuttlecock and one badminton racket per person. The players try to hit the ball over a net in such a way that the other side cannot hit it back according to the rules. It can be played by two players as singles and by four players as doubles or mixed. It is held in the hall and requires a high level of physical fitness due to the speed and high intensity of the running. Badminton is played by over 14 million players in more than 160 nations around the world.

The term badminton is often mistakenly equated with the recreational game of badminton, which, unlike badminton, aims for long rallies, while badminton is a competitive sport and is played according to fixed rules.

Badminton can be seen as one of the sports that makes the highest demands on the player. In order to be victorious at a high level, not only physical abilities of the most varied of character are required, but also special mental and character requirements.
